Success Guide
This is a fantastic opportunity if you are an experienced data scientist ready to step into a leadership role without leaving the technical work behind. You will need to show more than just model building skills. The company wants someone who can talk to business stakeholders, present to executives and still write Python and SQL code. Make sure your CV highlights specific machine learning models you have deployed to production and the business results they achieved. Mention any experience with insurance or financial services data, and be ready to discuss how you handle model governance and POPIA compliance. The role is based on site in George, so if you are looking to relocate to the Garden Route, this could be a great career move. Prepare examples of how you have mentored junior data scientists and how you balance hands on work with team leadership.
