Success Guide
This role is all about physical infrastructure, not helpdesk work. When you apply, make sure your CV clearly shows hands on experience with servers, cabling, and data centre equipment. Mention specific hardware brands you have worked with like Dell, HPE, or Cisco, and any monitoring tools you know such as PRTG or SolarWinds.
If you have certifications like CompTIA Server+ or CCNA, highlight those early. In the interview, be ready to talk through real examples of hardware failures you have resolved and how you handled them. They want to see that you understand the physical side of data centres, so focus on practical stories rather than general IT support tasks.
