About the role
Sasso Consulting is looking for 5 Data Architects to join their team. In this role, you will work on enterprise-wide data solutions that support business goals and digital transformation. You will have the chance to collaborate with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders on large projects.
Your day to day will involve:
- Designing and implementing enterprise data architectures and frameworks
- Developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Designing data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse solutions
- Defining ETL/ELT processes and data integration architectures
- Building cloud-based data solutions using Azure or similar platforms
- Establishing data governance, quality, security, and compliance standards
- Supporting enterprise data migration and modernisation projects
- Reviewing technical designs and ensuring architecture compliance
Important: Applicants must have proven hands-on enterprise data architecture experience. General Data Analysts, BI Developers, and Database Administrators without substantial architecture experience will not be considered. The company notes that only candidates with relevant hands-on architecture experience should apply.
Requirements
- Relevant degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of relevant technical data experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Data Architect experience preferred
- Proven enterprise data architecture and solution design experience is essential
- Strong SQL, database design, and advanced data modelling skills
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or comparable cloud data platforms
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data integration
- Experience with data governance, master data management, and data security
- TOGAF, CDMP, Azure, or equivalent certifications are advantageous
