Success Guide

When you apply for this Customs and Shipping Manager role, put your SARS compliance experience and HS tariff classification know how near the top of your CV. The hiring team will want to see concrete examples of shipments you have cleared, the types of goods you have handled and the forwarders or clearing agents you have worked with. If you have SAP exposure or FMCG experience, mention it clearly even if it is not your main strength. A short cover note that shows you understand customs compliance in a fast moving food or FMCG environment will help you stand out. Prepare to discuss how you solve clearance delays and keep stakeholders updated. Send your CV to the email address in the ad and keep your documents ready in case you are shortlisted.
