Success Guide
This is a senior academic role at the University of Zululand, so your application needs to show depth. Make sure your CV clearly highlights your experience with curriculum development in a higher education setting and any work you have done with Foundation Programmes.
In your cover letter, focus on your understanding of the CHE, HEQSF and SAQA frameworks. These come up often in interviews for curriculum roles. Be ready to talk about a curriculum project you led from start to finish, including the challenges you faced and how you handled them.
The selection panel will likely look for someone who can work independently but also collaborate with academic staff across faculties. Mention examples of how you have built relationships with lecturers or department heads. If you have a PhD, highlight it, as it gives you an edge.
Good luck with your application. This is a role where you can really shape how students learn.
