A leading private hospital in Cape Town is looking for an experienced CSSD Manager to run its busy Central Sterile Services Department. You will lead the team, keep sterilisation and infection control standards sharp, and manage stock and budgets. About the role
This role puts you at the centre of a busy hospital's sterile services, making sure theatre packs are ready, processes are safe, and the team runs smoothly.
- Oversee daily operations of the CSSD unit and keep quality assurance on track
- Maintain infection control, hygiene, SHEQ and sterilisation standards
- Lead the CSSD team, manage performance and support staff development
- Control equipment, stock and the departmental budget
- Work closely with other departments to keep service delivery strong

Requirements
- SANC registration as a professional or general nurse
- Minimum 5 years experience in CSSD or theatre, including leadership or managerial experience
- Previous staff management and conflict management experience
- Advanced SAFMED CSSD course would be advantageous
- Willing to work the flexi hour system including night shift
