About the role
Prism Placements has partnered with a key client in Germiston that needs an experienced Cost Accountant to drive financial control, compliance and stock governance across several branches. This is a hands-on finance role for someone who enjoys partnering with operations teams, improving financial processes and making sure strong financial discipline is maintained across sites.
You will work closely with branch and operations staff, monitor stock and costing accuracy, support compliance efforts and travel to regional sites when needed. The position offers exposure to a multi-site retail, wholesale or distribution environment where stock management and reporting form a big part of the work.

Requirements
- Relevant Honours degree or CIMA qualification
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in a similar role with solid experience in costing, financial control and stock management within a multi-site environment
- Retail, wholesale and/or distribution industry experience is essential
- In-depth stock experience is a must, where stock management, reporting or costing was a large part of your role
- Advanced MS Excel and ERP systems skills, which will be tested
- Willingness to travel between regional sites when required
- Only South African citizens will be considered
