A leading construction company in Paarl is looking for an energetic and resourceful Project Manager or Construction Foreman to run high-end residential building projects from start to finish. If you have 2 to 3 years of experience in luxury home construction in the Cape Peninsula and Boland areas, and you are ready to take charge of quality, budget and deadlines, this could be your next big move.
About the role
This is a hands-on opportunity for a Project Manager or Construction Foreman who knows what it takes to deliver top quality residential builds. You will be based in Paarl and will manage high-end residential projects across the Cape Peninsula and Boland areas, from the first day on site to final handover.
You will be the person coordinating subcontractors daily, solving problems on the ground, and keeping the project on track without sacrificing workmanship or blowing the budget. The company values someone who can handle pressure, communicate clearly, and keep clients and teams on the same page.
Important: Only candidates with experience in high-end residential construction in the Cape Peninsula and Boland areas will be considered. A valid driver licence is required for this role.
Requirements
- At least Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
- A relevant tertiary qualification in construction will be beneficial
- A valid driver licence is required
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in the construction of high-end residential houses
- Specific experience in finishes will be a benefit
- Experience working in the Cape Peninsula and Boland areas
- Strong interpersonal skills to handle difficult situations with tact
- Ability to liaise with and direct subcontractors daily
- Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality or overspending the project budget
