About the role
Our client, a well established legal firm based in Melrose, is growing their team and looking for a driven Commercial Attorney to support a busy Partner with commercial litigation. This role suits a vibrant, independent professional who can hit the ground running and add value from the start.
You will manage commercial litigation matters from start to finish, consult with clients, conduct legal research, draft legal documents and represent clients in court. The firm values sound legal judgement, strong business acumen and a solutions oriented approach.
This position is advertised as Non EE/AA.
Requirements
- Completed LLB from a top university with strong academic results
- 3 years post articles experience
- Strong commercial litigation background, which is non negotiable
- Practical experience and proficiency in CaseLines and/or Court Online
- Experience using AI platforms such as Harvey and/or Claude
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Analytical and solutions oriented
- Confident, vibrant and dynamic with the ability to work independently
