About the role

What you will do:
- Operate heavy motor vehicles safely on public roads
- Transport and deliver goods between locations
- Follow all road traffic laws and adjust your driving to weather and road conditions
- Check goods against delivery documentation before loading
- Ensure cargo is properly loaded and secured
- Supervise loading and offloading at delivery points
- Conduct pre trip and post trip inspections on your vehicle
- Report any mechanical faults, incidents or hazards to your supervisor
- Monitor fuel consumption and keep the vehicle clean
- Obtain proof of delivery and keep accurate records
- Resolve delivery queries and provide updates on delivery progress

- Report mechanical faults and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy
- Monitor fuel consumption and maintain vehicle cleanliness
