MC Technology Staffing is looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join a manufacturing team in Letsitele, Limpopo. You will machine parts for cartoning machines and agricultural equipment, working with both conventional and CNC lathes as well as CNC mills. About the role
This is a hands-on machining role based in Letsitele, Limpopo. You will join a manufacturing team that produces parts for cartoning machines and agricultural equipment, and also handles basic engineering services.
What the day to day looks like:
- Setting up and operating CNC and conventional lathes to turn parts to specification
- Prepping and planning CNC machines before each job
- Planning the materials needed for each job requirement
- Keeping your workstation clean and neat at all times
- Running two or more machines at the same time where possible
- Working every second Saturday, with shifts from 06h00 to 18h00
You will need your own vehicle and a valid driver's licence to get to the site. If you are a qualified Fitter and Turner or Turner who takes pride in accurate work and can manage your time across multiple machines, this could be a good fit.
Requirements
- Must have a Red Seal as a Fitter and Turner or Turner
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
- Sufficient experience on conventional lathes and CNC lathes
- Some knowledge of CNC mills
- Willing to operate two or more machines at the same time where possible
- Must be able to work every second Saturday
- Must be available for working hours from 06h00 to 18h00
