About the role
As a Cloud and Servers Systems Engineer at Gole, you will be the technical person behind the company's cloud and server environment. You will design and deploy infrastructure across cloud platforms and on premises servers, making sure everything stays reliable, scalable and secure.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in server administration, cloud engineering or a similar role
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V or KVM
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN and load balancing
- Scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash or PowerShell
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible or Puppet
- Understanding of AI
- Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to system optimization
- Recommended certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Professional, Veeam Certified Engineer, Red Hat Certified Engineer, Microsoft Certified Windows Server, VMware Certified Professional or Certified Kubernetes Administrator
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy cloud and on premises server infrastructure to meet business requirements
- Configure and manage virtual machines, containers and server clusters
- Manage cloud platforms and services for compute, storage and networking
- Optimize cloud resources for cost, performance and scalability
- Install, configure and maintain physical and virtual servers
- Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability
- Develop scripts in Python, Bash or PowerShell to automate routine tasks and deployments
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation
- Implement security best practices such as firewalls, encryption and access controls
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Design and implement backup, recovery and disaster recovery plans
- Test and validate recovery procedures to ensure business continuity

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for server and cloud related issues
