Success Guide

Oncology nursing is deeply rewarding but also emotionally demanding. If you have a genuine passion for caring for cancer patients and their families, this role at Netcare Milpark Hospital lets you make a real difference every day.

When you apply, make sure your CV clearly shows your oncology or palliative care experience, your SANC registration details and any specialist training you have completed. Highlight your experience with chemotherapy, symptom management and supporting patients through difficult journeys.

For the interview, expect questions about how you handle ethical dilemmas, how you communicate with families about diagnoses, and how you manage your own wellbeing in a high pressure environment. Be ready to talk about a time you supported a patient or family through a challenging period. Show them your compassion and your clinical confidence.
