About the role
Capitec is looking for a Client Engagement Specialist to join its Operations and Admin team in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. This role goes beyond campaign execution. You will help design, build and optimise intelligent customer engagement programmes that create real value for both customers and the business.
What the role involves:
- Designing and building personalised customer journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other CRM platforms
- Optimising customer engagement programmes that drive meaningful interactions at scale
- Working with customer data, segmentation and data modelling to inform engagement strategies
- Collaborating with business and technical stakeholders across multiple teams
- Applying Agile delivery practices to campaign and programme work
- Connecting digital ecosystems through APIs and systems integration

Requirements
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a CRM, client engagement, marketing technology or client relationship environment
- Hands on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and or other CRM platforms
- Understanding of customer data, segmentation, data modelling and customer centric engagement strategies
- Exposure to APIs, systems integration and digital ecosystem connectivity
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders across business and technical teams
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Minimum qualification: a relevant tertiary qualification in SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or similar
- Ideal qualification: Honours Degree in Information Technology or similar
- Clear criminal and credit record
