About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an international company as a Chemistry Laboratory Manager. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Chemistry Department.
Your role will focus on technical and quality management, ensuring that all work in the laboratory meets a high standard. You will work to minimise retests and non conforming work while leading and managing a team of 16 analysts.
Requirements
- B.Sc or B.Tech in Chemistry or Biotechnology
- Experience working in an ISO 17025 accredited facility
- Proven ability to manage a team of analysts
- Strong technical and quality management skills
- Understanding of laboratory quality standards and non conformance management
