About the role
Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity for Gift Wrappers to join their team in the Westrand stores on a fixed term, part time basis. You will be responsible for wrapping and decorating customers purchases with gift wrapping paper, ribbons, bows and tape after they have paid.
What you will do:
- Help customers choose suitable wrapping materials.
- Wrap each package professionally following set guidelines.
- Remove price tags and include gift receipts in the wrapping.
- Keep wrapped packages organised in the gift wrap holding area.
- Greet customers, determine their needs and assist them in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Resolve customer queries within a reasonable time.
- Wear the correct uniform and name badge at all times.
- Report any bad or suspicious behaviour to management.
- Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements
- Grade 12 or Matric or Senior Certificate is essential.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Clear criminal and credit record (MIE checks will be done).
- Attention to detail.
- Basic customer service skills.
