Success Guide

When applying for this Dis-Chem Frontshop Assistant role, highlight any retail or customer service experience you have, even if it is just a few months. Make sure your CV is up to date and clearly shows that you have your matric.

In an interview, they will likely ask how you would handle an unhappy customer or a pricing error on the shelf. Be ready to give simple, honest examples of times you helped someone or solved a problem. Show that you are reliable, friendly and willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Remember to mention that you are a South African citizen with a clear record. If you have a driver's license and your own transport, bring that up too as it is an advantage. Good luck!
