About the role
Sasso Consulting is looking for experienced Business Architecture Architects to join a complex enterprise environment and help drive business transformation. You will work at the intersection of strategy, business capabilities, processes, and technology, designing the architectural blueprints that guide large scale change.
This is a specialist position suited to architects who have moved beyond generalist business analysis work and can demonstrate hands on delivery of enterprise business architecture. With five positions available, there is real opportunity to make an impact on transformation initiatives while collaborating with enterprise architects and business leaders.
You can expect to facilitate workshops, map value streams, assess capability gaps, and build roadmaps that turn strategic intent into practical operating models.

- Relevant degree in IT, Information Systems, Business Management, Enterprise Architecture or related field
- 5 to 8+ years relevant experience in business or enterprise architecture
- Essential: proven hands on experience developing enterprise business architecture models
- Strong experience in business capability mapping and target operating model design
- Practical knowledge of TOGAF, business architecture frameworks and value stream mapping
- Experience with enterprise architecture modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS, LeanIX or Bizzdesign
- Experience supporting large scale business transformation initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of BIZBOK and ArchiMate advantageous
- Relevant business or enterprise architecture certifications advantageous
- Note: this is a specialist role and does not suit general Business Analysts or Project Managers without substantial hands on architecture experience
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise business architecture frameworks and models
- Design business capability maps and conduct capability assessments
- Develop current state (AS IS) and future state (TO BE) operating models
- Perform enterprise value stream mapping and business process architecture
- Align business strategy with organisational capabilities and technology
- Identify capability gaps and recommend improvements
- Develop business architecture roadmaps supporting transformation initiatives
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, business leaders and IT teams
- Facilitate architecture workshops and stakeholder engagements
- Ensure compliance with architecture governance standards and methodologies
