Success Guide
This role is perfect for a diesel mechanic who wants to step off the workshop floor now and then and use their technical knowledge in an admin capacity. When you apply, make sure your CV clearly shows your Trade Test and your experience with fleet maintenance and bus specifications. Highlight any exposure you have had to penalty clauses or contract administration, as that will set you apart. In an interview, be ready to explain how you would investigate a penalty and what steps you take to contest it fairly. Also show that you are organized and comfortable keeping registers and audit records up to date. It is a great opportunity to grow into a compliance focused role while staying close to the tools.
