About the role
Our client, a specialist short term insurance provider, needs a Portfolio Manager and Broker Consultant to manage, support and grow their independent broker portfolio across the Johannesburg region. Success Guide
Hi there. This role is all about relationships and sales in the short term insurance world, specifically for heavy commercial vehicles. If you have been working in short term insurance for a while and want to step into a role where you are out in the market building partnerships, this could be a great fit.
Make sure your CV clearly shows your sales track record and your experience with brokers or portfolio management. They will want to see numbers if possible, like how you grew a portfolio or retained clients. Also, double check that your RE5 and NQF Level 4 or 5 qualification are easy to spot because those are non negotiable.
Since you will be travelling around Johannesburg, mention that you have your own reliable vehicle and a valid licence. And if you speak both English and Afrikaans, highlight that because it is a big plus for this role.
