Success Guide
Landing a Branch Advisor role at FNB is a great step into a banking career, and George is a friendly market where client relationships really matter. When you apply, make sure your CV clearly shows your customer facing experience in financial services and any exposure to FAIS or TCF principles. Even if your experience is limited, highlight situations where you solved problems for clients or met sales targets.
In an interview, expect questions about how you would handle a client who needs a product you cannot immediately approve, and how you keep records compliant. Brush up on FNB's eChannel offerings and self service options, because educating clients on digital banking is a big part of this role. Arrive knowing the branch location and dress professionally. Get your application in before 13 November 2026, and double check that your Grade 12 certificate and any NQF Level 5 certificate are attached or ready to upload.
