Success Guide

This role is advertised through Affirmative Portfolios, so your application will likely be screened by a recruiter before it reaches the family run business. Make sure your CV clearly shows your experience with Pastel, SARS eFiling, and payroll, as these are core parts of the job.

Since they ask for a relevant accounting qualification, attach your certificate or diploma. In your cover letter or application, mention specific examples of how you have handled reconciliations, SARS submissions, or inventory costing. The company is small and hands-on, so showing that you can take ownership and work independently will stand out.
