Overview
A well established agricultural infrastructure specialist in Skeerpoort, North West needs a skilled Boilermaker and Sheet Metal Worker with 8 years of hands on experience. You will manufacture and assemble thin sheet metal components, safety frames and steel structures for commercial greenhouse builds. This permanent role pays R35 000 to R45 000 per month and includes a 13th cheque and a company vehicle for site travel.
About the role
Our client builds complete turnkey commercial greenhouses and installs advanced growing systems across South Africa. They have been operating for over two decades and need a practical Boilermaker and Sheet Metal Worker to join their team in Skeerpoort, North West.
You will spend your days working with thin sheet metal and light steel materials, cutting, shaping, fitting and assembling components that go into greenhouse structures and safety frames. The work includes manufacturing construction related products such as structures and components that open and fold. You will need to work independently, meet deadlines and travel to construction sites when required.

Requirements
- A formal boilermaker or related qualification is an advantage
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
- Proven experience in sheet metal work and processing thin sheet metal
- Experience with light materials and thin sheet metal of approximately 2 mm, 3 mm and 4 mm
- Practical experience cutting, shaping, fitting and processing thin sheet metal
- Experience manufacturing safety frames, steel structures and related construction products
- Mining experience alone is not sufficient; you must have specific thin sheet metal experience
- Comfortable working independently without continuous supervision
- Strong practical skills in sheet metal work
- Ability to interpret technical instructions and drawings where applicable
- Good problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Own reliable transport and valid driver's license
