Success Guide

If you are applying for this Blockman role at Pick n Pay, remember that they will actually test your meat cutting skills during the process. So be ready to show what you can do with a bandsaw, how you debone and how you make boerewors. When you send your CV, highlight any butchery experience you have, even if it was at a smaller shop or as a trainee. Also make it clear that you live close to Princess Crossing because they specifically ask for that. The numeracy test is nothing to stress about, it is just to check you can handle basic calculations that come with the job. Make sure your CV shows you are comfortable working in cold rooms and lifting heavy carcasses, because this role is physical. Pop in your matric certificate with your application to show you are serious. Good luck, this could be a solid start if you love working with meat.
