About the role
As a Shared Beauty Advisor for L'Oreal Fragrance at Foschini Canal Walk, you will be the face of the brand on the shop floor. Your main goal is to create a welcoming experience for customers while achieving store turnover targets, opening new accounts and signing up customers to rewards programmes.
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering excellent customer service and building lasting relationships with shoppers
- Managing stock levels, conducting daily stock counts and keeping the fragrance area well presented
- Executing visual merchandising guidelines to make the L'Oreal range stand out
- Completing administrative tasks accurately and on time
You will work closely with the Foschini team to ensure the beauty department runs smoothly and meets its sales goals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast paced retail environment and takes pride in delivering a great customer experience.
Requirements
- A beauty related qualification is desirable
- 2 to 3 years of retail experience
- 1 to 2 years of cosmetics experience
- Excellent selling skills
- Strong interest in retail and the cosmetic field
- Ability to communicate and persuade effectively at all levels
- Ability to show initiative and be resourceful
- Ability to source and implement effective solutions in a fast paced environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Ability to multi task and work independently
- High level of attention to detail
- Customer service delivery, planning and organising, strategic sales planning, managing the sales process, customer value management
