Clicks is hiring Beauty Advisors for their Cresta Centre store in Johannesburg. About the role
As a Beauty Advisor at Clicks Cresta Centre, you will be the friendly face of the beauty department, helping customers find products that suit their needs and making sure the department looks great and runs smoothly.
- Consult with customers in person, answer their product questions and recommend the best beauty and skincare items for them.
- Promote products through cross selling and up selling to help the store meet its monthly beauty sales targets.
- Keep up to date with beauty ranges, trends and promotions so you can give customers accurate advice.
- Help with stock management, reduce shrinkage and keep the department clean and well presented.
- Set up visual displays and make sure promotional standards are met.
- Sign up new Clicks clubcard members and encourage customers to join.
- Act as a brand ambassador by being visible, helpful and professional on the floor.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (matric) is essential.
- A relevant beauty or skincare qualification would be an advantage.
- Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales or marketing is desirable.
- Understanding of selling principles and retail merchandising.
- Knowledge of stock management procedures.
- Strong customer service focus and the ability to meet targets.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident, engaging and able to persuade and influence others.
- Ability to plan, organise and work well under pressure.
- Commercial thinking and a results driven attitude.
Responsibilities
- Advise customers on beauty and skincare products and help them choose what suits their needs.
- Drive beauty department sales through promotion, cross selling and up selling to meet monthly targets.
- Monitor product performance and suggest improvements to the product offering.
- Stay informed about all beauty products, ranges, trends and in store promotions.
- Manage stock, minimise shrinkage and maintain high housekeeping and admin standards.
- Set up and maintain in store visual merchandising and promotional displays.
- Provide friendly, professional service as a visible brand ambassador.
- Promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to reach participation targets.
- Increase profitability and loyalty by promoting private label and exclusive products.
- Live and drive the company values to make Clicks the customer first choice for health and beauty.
