About the role
Labournet is looking for a B-BBEE Specialist to join their team in Cape Town. In this role, you will help clients generate, implement, and track B-BBEE projects so they can obtain their B-BBEE certificates. You will advise clients on compliance queries, adjust strategies based on new information, and manage client expectations day to day.
This is a fast paced, high pressure position that requires meticulous time management, strong legislative knowledge, and a customer first mindset. You will handle multiple projects at once, drive engagement, and keep up with industry changes.

Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in B-BBEE consulting
- 1 to 2 years of experience in B-BBEE verification services is advantageous
- 1 year of experience in B-BBEE, Human Resource Management, Finance, Skills Development, or Employment Equity industries is advantageous
- BA or BCom degree in Law, HR, Industrial Psychology, Business, Accounting, Management, Financial Management, or a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is essential
- Matric or NQF 4 equivalent qualification
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle
- Customer first mindset
- Strong time management and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle high pressure
- Legislative knowledge related to B-BBEE
Responsibilities
- Maintain relationships with clients to ensure retention
- Implement B-BBEE project management to achieve compliance
- Engage with different clients and service providers
- Stay current with industry, legislative, and client related knowledge
- Handle client queries, concerns, and drive engagement
- Generate plans and drive projects to completion
- Manage reporting requirements and multiple simultaneous projects
- Assist clients with overcoming obstacles that hinder compliance
- Make changes to strategies based on new information
- Manage client expectations routinely
