Success Guide
This role is a strong fit if you have recently finished your CA(SA) articles and want to step into a supervisor position without moving to the UK. The hospitality client base means you will see hotels, restaurants and leisure businesses, so brush up on revenue recognition and stock issues that come up in that sector.
In your interview, be ready to walk through how you run an audit from planning to completion, and have examples of how you have supervised juniors or managed deadlines. Mention any CaseWare or Xero experience, even if it was brief. It also helps to show that you understand the firm is a local extension of a London practice, so highlight your communication skills and comfort working across time zones or with international stakeholders.
Make sure your CV clearly states your CA(SA) progress and the date you qualified or expect to qualify. A concise cover note explaining why the hospitality sector and international exposure appeal to you will go a long way.
