Success Guide
Applying for a municipal valuation role is a bit different from a typical private sector job. The City of Johannesburg wants to see that you meet the SACPVP registration requirement and have real experience valuing different property types. Make sure your CV clearly states your registration number and expiry date, as this is a key requirement. In your interview, be ready to talk about how you have led a team, handled complex valuations, and worked with legislation like the MPRA. Since you will be working with the public, show that you understand Batho Pele principles and can communicate clearly with stakeholders. Remember to attach certified copies of all your documents and apply online before 12 November 2026. Good luck!
