About the role
As an Antimalware Specialist at Sasso Consulting, you will be at the frontline of enterprise cybersecurity, keeping critical systems safe from malware, ransomware and other digital threats. You will work with advanced endpoint protection platforms and play a key role in detecting, investigating and stopping security incidents before they cause harm.
What you will do day to day:
- Deploy, configure and manage enterprise antivirus and endpoint protection tools.
- Set up and maintain antivirus policies, scan schedules and exclusions.
- Monitor security alerts and investigate suspicious activity or malware detections.
- Respond to malware incidents by containing, quarantining and removing threats.
- Keep endpoint protection running smoothly across workstations, servers and infrastructure.
- Manage security agent rollouts, updates and troubleshooting.
- Support EDR and XDR technologies and integrate them with monitoring systems.
- Investigate ransomware threats and recommend ways to prevent future attacks.
- Maintain security documentation, reports and protection standards.
- Work closely with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to strengthen overall security.
Important note: Proven enterprise level antimalware administration experience is essential. General IT support or basic antivirus installation experience alone will not be considered. There are 5 positions available.
Requirements
- Relevant Diploma or Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or Information Security.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise antimalware or endpoint security administration.
- Proven experience implementing and managing enterprise antivirus and endpoint protection solutions.
- Practical experience with platforms such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Trellix/McAfee, Sophos, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Trend Micro or Symantec.
- Strong knowledge of malware detection, ransomware prevention and endpoint security incident investigation.
- Experience with Windows, Windows Server and enterprise security environments.
- Experience configuring security policies, deploying endpoint agents and troubleshooting protection systems.
- Knowledge of EDR, XDR, SIEM and Active Directory is advantageous.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-200, CySA+ or vendor specific endpoint security certifications are advantageous.
- Must have proven enterprise level antimalware administration experience.
